Stephen Asher - FIBC

Stephen is an Associate Director in the US and UK tax areas.


Stephen specialises in advising international organisations about strategy and process management. Stephen’s work involves international tax and social security planning, cost and risk assessment as well as reorganisations of processes and systems for the management of cross-border employees. Stephen focuses on the benefits achieved from integrating cross-border organisational design and international reward strategy.

 

Stephen is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting, a member of the Society of Business Economists and a member of the management committee of XBHR, a multi-disciplinary global forum for professional advisors and academics who are experts in cross-border human resources issues. Stephen also writes regularly for publications such as Pay Magazine.

 

After a period working in the Inland Revenue, Stephen joined PricewaterhouseCooper in the 1980s, where he specialised in intentional employee compensation and benefit consulting. Stephen joined Arthur Andersen in 1999, progressing to tax partner and running his own expatriate employer consulting team.
