Donal O'Brien

Donal is a Manager in the UK Trust area of the practice.

Donal works in the trust area specialising in UK trusts or trusts held by UK non resident settlors/trustees with domiciled/non domiciled beneficiaries. Donal provides tax and trust compliance services to clients.

Donal was the Manager of Trust Services at the Charities Aid Foundation for three years prior to joining Frank Hirth. Donal dealt with high net worth clients and was responsible for a team of 7 client managers with over 2,300 private clients. Before that, Donal worked for 18 years in the trust department of a firm of chartered accountants in the West End of London. There, he had a wide variety of trust clients ranging from wealthy families to large charities.

In Donal’s spare time, he follows his passion for Formula 1 and NASCAR (American stock car racing) or building and flying model aeroplanes.
