Matthew Edwards - EA

Matthew is a Manager in the Corporate area of the business.

Matthew has been working in the UK and US taxation fields since 1997.

He started his career working for a small firm providing tax compliance and advisory services to primarily high-net-worth individuals from a variety of backgrounds. In addition to working in UK and US personal taxation, Matthew gained experience handling the US tax reporting for personal holding companies and investment vehicles operated by some of these individuals.

After seven years working in a smaller firm, Matthew joined Ernst & Young LLP where he spent a year coordinating the US tax compliance for the firm's private clients as well as for a number of individuals working in the hedge fund and private equity field.

Matthew left Ernst & Young and joined Frank Hirth plc in July 2005. Although he initially started at the company primarily managing personal tax clients, he has now taken over a team focusing on US corporate and partnership taxation, as well as entrepreneurial individuals with their own business interests.
