Frank Hirth has announced the opening of a new office in New Zealand. The firm is well known for providing transatlantic tax advice to private clients from offices in London and New York, and December saw them open an office in Wellington.
The Wellington office, led by Iain Forshaw, will specialise in US tax and will assist in all areas of personal, corporate, trust and tax planning for people relocating to New Zealand from the US. Iain will also work closely with colleagues in New York and London to provide a service to those individuals contemplating relocating from New Zealand to the US.
Iain specialises in private client tax affairs including employment tax issues on new start-up companies with international assignees and High Net Worth Individuals. He provides a wide range of compliance services for these individuals in addition to assisting with complex issues such as expatriation, tax compliance and various tax planning and consultancy projects. Iain is a qualified US Enrolled Agent (EA) and Chartered Tax Accountant.
